Young people from the Youth Offices of Čajetina and Užice participated in the opening ceremony of the Zlatibor Cup for the second consecutive year.

The 5th International Football Tournament Zlatibor Cup was officially opened at King’s Square, once again bringing together several thousand participants from 14 countries.

The opening ceremony began with a parade of teams around Zlatibor Lake, during which the participating teams competing in the tournament from May 1 to May 3 were presented. A large number of visitors attended the parade and warmly welcomed the young athletes.

The central part of the program took place at King’s Square, where a variety of entertainment activities were organized for visitors of all ages. The tournament was officially opened by Milan Stamatović, President of the Municipality of Čajetina, who wished all participants a successful competition and an enjoyable stay on Zlatibor. A special contribution to the event’s organization was made by volunteers from the Youth Offices of Čajetina, Užice, and Priboj.

They assisted in organizing the ceremonial parade and participated in activities within the fan zone. Throughout the tournament, the volunteers supported the organizers in various tasks, contributing to the successful implementation of the event and helping create a welcoming atmosphere for both participants and visitors. For the fifth consecutive year, Zlatibor has hosted this important sporting event, which took place from May 1 to May 3.

Once again, the tournament brought together talented young football players from different parts of the world, promoting sport, friendship, and fair play.
