Over the past several months, the Youth Office of Čajetina has successfully implemented the project “Together for Empowered Women.”
As part of the project, a wide range of activities was organized, including workshops for young people, training sessions for local stakeholders, self-defense training, and art workshops.
In addition, psychological counseling was provided for young girls and women, while a final conference marked the completion of the project. An important outcome of the project was the initiation of numerous discussions and community initiatives related to gender equality and the prevention of violence. In the coming period, we will continue working to establish new support mechanisms and develop additional projects and activities aimed at empowering young girls and women, as well as benefiting the wider community.
Our goal remains unchanged: strengthening gender equality and jointly combating all forms of violence.
